Sip & Plant - Kusamono Pot Painting

Workshop Intro

This year, we’re excited to be collaborating with our amazing local breweries for our Sip & Plant workshop series — Beer + Botanical. We’ll be meeting up in a cozy, stylish craft beer brewery right in downtown Victoria, where you can sip, slow down, and create something living (and genuinely cool) together. "Kusamono Pot Painting": Join us for a relaxing and creative evening as we explore the art of Kusamono pot painting. In this workshop, you’ll design and paint your own handmade kusamono bisque pot trio, using a selection of underglaze colors and brushes provided during the session. Whether you prefer simple patterns or expressive designs, this is your chance to create a pot that reflects your personal style. After the workshop, we will carefully apply a clear glaze and kiln-fire your piece to complete the finishing process. Your finished pot will be ready to become a beautiful home for a future kusamono planting.
